Eclipse Error Retrieving Feature.xml . Error In Opening Zip File
Do you remember how did you install the last Eclipse plugin? The 1.5 Java JRE has been installed with apt-get and added to the PATH. I added this page to a bugtraq: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=153741 solved my problem. Looks like the bug reporting system was under maintenance for sometime not sure though... his comment is here
The installer explicitly > states "choose an exisiting Eclipse 3.3 or higher root folder...". At which point the user would say OK or Cancel. Maybe you should retest by deleting all net.sourceforge.pmd.* directories in your Eclipse plugins and features directories.
