Be sure to match media (+DL, -DL) to the drive's capabilities (+DL, -DL) . I'm just trying to make a DL dvd. Any advice you can give would be key. DL disk burn in DVDSP - just not happening after trying it all...
MacProOpticalDriveConfig.jpg Burning DVDs is not difficult - but burning DL DVDs requires all elements in the chain be working properly - DVDSP. same problem exists. This will create a disk image that you can open up in Disk Utility and burn from there. And it does, as Ill explain in a minute...

I loaded the project in DVDSP via: Advanced Burn --> Format --> choose Source as my Video_TS folder and commenced a burn (since the project was already built).
