Just a total failure. It would get to like 99.9% on the "formatting" progress bar, and then i would get an "unknown device error. (0x73, 0x03.)" From what I've read, this means either that the Any advice you can give would be key. I've been able to create a .mov and burned to a CD with no problems, but the non profit I created it for would like it on a DVD. HepworthRishabh RajanJoe AlbanoHollin JonesSteve HorelickG.W. I feel like I've read every forum, watched every video and no solutions are availing themselves. This will create a disk image that you can open up in Disk Utility and burn from there.
I have tried everything,did the right compression but without any progress... Avoid them and any of the cheap brands such as those that can be bought at the supermarket. Really.Quite often the fans in a computer will end up sucking in air through disc slots/drawers as well as through air intakes and you will end up with a surpisingly large Working...
Your suggestion to try and burn a different DL, 7GB file was very smart and something I hadn't thought of. Especially since one of the warnings said that the 0 break layer was too small or large for the DL breakpoint. Or try googling something along the lines of Free + video converter + mac I've found a couple of possible app's: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/19769/isquint http://homepage.mac.com/major4/ Let me know if these (or any others) from the window and choose the format, video size etc.

Within DVD Studio Pro I made sure to set the option that I was burning to a dual layer, red laser, etc...I go to burn the DVD and it gets to navigate here Computer specs: MacBook Pro 2.3Ghz Intel i7 8GB DDR3 ram Exported from FCP 7 DVDSP 4.2.2 Files are all housed on a Thunderbolt external drive. i.e. Both ways get me up to the error message.
None would burn.Any thoughts.As usual delivery of disc is due first up tomorrow.Thanks,Mark*EDIT: Did a google search. Stupid question: you HAVE verified that your Mac's optical drive has DL burning capabilities, right? i do so, and it burns successfully.
