I have a feeling I need to convert my AVI files, but I don't know what to use to check/convert them in order for my DVD software to recognize them. i recently took regained possession of my desktop, and was all excited to burn DVDs and got the same error "could not create thumbnail" blah blah blah. It also found some broken files and deleted them. sorted it out for me.

I use the QTR - do you reccomand to use this format? I've tried using Arial Narrow-18 to 14-Regular-Medium Stroke and Tahoma 30 to 14-Regular-Medium Stoke with the same results. They Avi files play just fine if I'm viewing them, the only problem is when I try to burn them to DVD using Sonic MyDVD. Most video's I try to burn using MyDVD work just fine with a regular drag and drop.
