If you are trying to open and rip them from your drive with Dvd Shrink that is probably your problem. Cyclic Redundancy Error Installing Game Is VOB 3 really tiny? It will show up then as another DVD rom drive. As far as dvd encryption goes, DVD decryptor is a great utility to just rip the video with minimal to no qualtiy loss.

It's a DVD authorizing program that lets you take most video formats (say a divx video you downloaded) and convert it to proper DVD format and burn a standard DVD. thanks, If your getting a CRC error (Redundancy error) while trying to rip (copying the dvd to your HD). Going any further in attempting to "crack" the encryption would likely violate copyright laws. It can also be from a bad optical component in your drive. well, searching these forums, I found a post that seemed to suggest a possible workaround: it said, backup with DVDDecrypter in IFO mode and do something with them in Deamon tools.

Also on an earlier post Scuba made he said after you use all those settings he listed to go ahead and put it back on default. The ISO on de hard drive will then contain an image which is not 100% the same as the original as some sectors are missing.
